What do you think of the names Americus Elizebeth and Miricle lynn for baby girl names?

personally I would just go with Ami Elizabeth and Mira Lynn

What do you think of the names Americus Elizebeth and Miricle lynn for baby girl names?
I love both America and Americus though! :D If I had an American baby I would have called her/him right this name - Americus. Report Abuse

Miracle Lynn-No person should be stuck with the name Miracle for their entire life, that's just mean.

Americus? No. Unless you live in a country where they speak ancient Latin or Greek. If you want to go with the origin of "America", you'll need to name your child after the explorer: AMERIGO Vespucci. AMERIGO. That is the origin of America. Nothing more.





Miricle? NO...it is spelled wrong. It should be spelled Miracle. And NO, that isn't a good name.





Amerigo is a BOYS name, so no, you wouldn't want to name a girl that.





Elizebeth? No, it is spelled wrong. It should be spelled ELIZABETH only.





Elizabeth and Lynn are good, stable, common names, that are good for a girl anytime, but the first names are a little too grandiose for humans.....Maybe they would be okay for an immortal.

Reply:I think that Miracle, spelled correctly, is a bit much, even if she is. Miricle, with the variant spelling, is a mistake. Mirabel, from an old name meaning "wondrous," is far more subtle - and sophisticated - way to convey the same idea.





As for Americus, it sounds masculine. America is a pretty weird choice. I know an Amy Erica - get it? - which again, is subtle, but doesn't pair well with Mirabel. I think you'd be much better off with Columbia, a poetic name for the United States.





Mirabel Lynne and Columbia Elizabeth are distinctive, sophisticated, interesting choices - and they sound like twins.
