I have a suggestion on how to come up with a name. When i have kids i'm going to do it this way, i think it seems a lot easier than arguing over names.





You and your husbend each get a piece of paper and pencil. For a couple days, or maybe a week, write down all the names you personally like/love. When you're both done, trade lists. Then you might hear some names you didn't before because you really wanted a name he didn't. You never know, you might have a name on both of your lists.

Maybe you could compromise. You pick the first and he can pick the middle name. That way, you both have your input. He could always call the baby by her middle name if he likes that better.

You might try looking at some baby names websites and you and your husband could look together and make a list of names that you both like. Each of you at the end of each week should get to mark off one name until you finally agreed upon 2, one for the first name and one for the middle name.
