I am having a little girl and need suggestions for a name. It means a lot to me not to just make up something that sounds good. I want to know what my child's name means. I want something different, original, but beautiful.
What are some good original meaningful baby girl names and what do they mean? Source %26amp; site if possible.?
I created a couple unique tools for finding good baby names on my website:
You might have some luck using the Last Name tool. It generates names that tend to "go well" with your last name.

Reply:If I ever had a child, and she was a girl,
I picked a beautiful name called
"Aurelia". I actually got it from an old hymn
book - it means, "gold" It is truly beautiful.
Biblical names are always good as they have
wonderful, blessed meanings,

I know this may sound morbid, but I think the best place
to choose a baby name(if you are wanting something different)
is the cemetry. Sounds crazy, but you will come across some
very old and unique names from the past.
I once came across a plaque of a baby that passed away in
the early 1800's - her name was Emily Mae - There was something haunting and unique about her name and I thought how sad it was that she never lived long enough to grow up and be a happy little girl. I kinda thought it would be sweet to name a child after one that didn't get that chance,
Just a thought....
