Reply:Ruby Claire is more euphoneous. It rolls off the tongue easier than does Claire Ruby. But, you also have to try it out with the last name to see how it sounds.





Also, is the child going to be called this whole name by everyone, or will she wind up being a Ruby or a Claire to most people. I'd HATE to be a woman with the name Ruby. Sounds like a hooker.
Reply:Ruby Claire is lovely though Ruby is heavily overused at the minute - because of a few high profile celebrity babies (Charlotte Church's springs to mind) and of course the Kaiser Chiefs well known anthem Ruby. It's a lovely name though.
